This film festival focuses mostly on winter and the backcountry. Durango Nature Studies is a member of the Winter Wildlands Alliance because of our educational snowshoe programs. This partnership allows us to host the Backcountry Film Festival each year. We are now going on our 5th year bringing the Backcountry Film Festival to Durango. These films will make you inspired by winter. They’ll also remind young naturalists of the many sports they can do when they love being outside.
2018 Films coming soon.
