SUMMER FIELD DAYS

Summer Field Days for Area Childcare Providers

If you run a program in the summer for kids, we open up days for you to bring your group to the Nature Center. Here's what you need to do

1. Look at the Summer Calendar and pick a date that says "Field Trip Days - Available."
2. Download the Registration Form, fill it out with your date, and email it back.
3. Read and print out the confirmation form and invoice you will receive by email. We expect you to come prepared for the day.

Important Information

Numbers We allow a minumum of 8 kids and a maximum of 25 kids for any field day.
Chaperones Please provide 1 adult chaperone from your organization for every 8 kids.
Transportation You are responsible for getting your kids to the Nature Center and picking them up.
Time Field trips are 10:00 - 1:00. Please plan to have lunch in our pavilion around 12:00.
Cost The cost is $5 per child, payable the day of the field trip. We prefer a check from the organization if you can swing it.
Activities DNS will provide a qualified instructor to lead the kids on hikes, games, and river play. The Florida River is very low and safe. Your kids will probably get dirty!
