Since 2007, Durango Nature Studies’ has hosted one of the most beloved and enriching summer camps in Durango. In response to Richard Louv’s groundbreaking book, “Last Child in the Woods,” parents can take joy in the fact that their kids will be spending their summer catching crawdads, building forts, hiking, exploring, river tromping, and learning about the natural world. Each summer, over 300 kids going into 1st to 6th grade, spend their summer at the Nature Center participating in our award-winning camp. Campers return year after year with memories, new friends, and a stronger sense of place. Please check availability on the chart below before you register. Payment Information:
– Camp Cost is $200 per Session
– Durango Nature Studies’ Family Members Receive 10% off
– Transportation is $25 extra
– A Summer Camp T-shirt is $15 extra
( To hold your child’s spot, we must receive at least a 50% non-refundable deposit. Should you have to cancel, 50% of the total amount will be refunded up until a week before camp, after which we are not able to give a refund)
