with DNS, this position
is part-time 30 hours/week and
responsible for the creation,
implementation, and
improvement of DNS programs.
Split across
seasons, each program manager
is responsible for programs offered
in either Spring/Fall or Winter/Summer.
During alternative seasons, the
manager serves as a supporting
educator.

The position of Program Manager
is part-time, 30 hours/week,
and responsible for delivering
seasonal curricula for:
• Current school-based programs
• New school-based programs
• Non-school programs for families
and youth
• Adult education
. Supervise staff and volunteers
to ensure quality program
delivery
. Support DNS in general administrative
tasks serving as an off-season
educator or performing
other duties as required
. Manage program equipment
. Maintain program sites
before, during, and after each
program season
. Maintain and cultivate external
partnerships
. Create, implement, and use
a reporting system to track
participants, teacher contacts,
and evaluation results
. Create and maintain budgets
for each assigned program
. Program and project management with
outdoor EE programs
. Demonstrated teamwork and
collaboration proficiency
. Exemplarily teaching skills
with both adults and children
. Strong knowledge/experience
with standards-based education
and/or curriculum development
. Leadership, supervision,
and delegation skills
. Excellent oral and written
communication skills
. Budget creation and management
skills
. Proficiency with MS Office,
email, and internet required;
experience with Adobe CS and/or
HTML skills a plus
. Bachelor degree required; science
and/or education degree preferred
• Salary $11.50-$13.50/hour and based on 30
hours/week
