Counselor in Training Program

Summer Counselor in Training Program

If you are between the ages of 12-17 and are interested in gaining experience with younger kids, consider becoming a counselor-in-training. Our summer camp for elementary students, Junior Naturalist Field Camp, is the perfect opportunity for nurturing, fun, and outdoor-loving teenagers to gain experience as a counselor-in-training.  While we typically ask CITs to join us for 2 or 3 sessions, due to high demand, we are fully staffed with CITs for Summer 2019.

The counselors-in-training are volunteer positions, but they’re great for developing valuable job skills, and it is more fun than hanging out alone at home.  As a counselor-in-training (CIT), you’ll work with elementary-age kids, encouraging them to try new things and being a mentor and a support to them while they are at Junior Naturalist Field Camp.  Apply today to be a CIT for Summer 2020.

If you are 18 or older, you can apply to be a camp counselor for our 2020 summer camp season. (note: positions are filled for 2019).
