Middle School Adventure Camp for Summer 2018
This summer we have three fun, exciting (and yes, even educational) summer camps geared toward middle school students. These camps focus on understanding our environment better through hiking, climbing, river exploring, map and compass, wildlife observations, team building, wilderness skills, an overnight camping trip, astronomy, and much more, all while focusing on a week-long theme. This camp is quickly becoming a favorite for middle schoolers from all over, as well as graduates from our popular Junior Naturalist Field Camp for grade school students. Check availability on table below before registering, or call 769-1800 to be placed on the waiting list.
– EARLY BIRD registration fee is $250 per Session (register at least 2 weeks before camp starts)
– Registration fee is $275 per Session (if you register within 2 weeks of the start of camp)
– Durango Nature Studies’ Family Members Receive 10% off
– A Durango Nature Studies’ T-shirt is $15 extra
PLEASE NOTE: Due to state child care licensing requirements, it is imperative that we have registrations in 2 weeks prior to the start of camp. To hold your child’s spot, we must receive at least a 50% non-refundable deposit. Should you have to cancel, 50% of the total amount will be refunded up until a week before camp, after which we are not able to give a refund)
Camp is from 9:00-4:00 each day. There will be an overnight on Thursday night and each camper will be asked to bring one food item to contribute to the meals. Participants in each session will be limited to 10 kids and there will be one male and one female instructor.
